Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking a Conference & Events Coordinator to join our Commercial Strategy team and ensure seamless turnover from Sales to Operations and back, coordinating conferences, events, outside catering, and group bookings within MODOH.

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha, the role supports the proactive sales team by managing post-contract events, coordinating with clients during planning and execution, and providing post‑event feedback.

Qualifications

• Motivated and confident.
• Professional and humble.
• Senior school qualifications.
• Degree or higher national diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management.
• Previous experience in the GCC is an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills and well versed in all computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team in all upcoming tasks within Commercial Strategy and beyond.
• Ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Doha’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care.
• Adhere to the established conference and events sales administration, client history and tracing system within the department.
• Provide customers with prompt service to fulfill their needs within our operational capabilities.
• Maintain an organized filing system.
• Generate reports when requested and within the specified time.
