Job summary

RISE Enterprise is seeking a Commis Chef to support senior chefs across French, Italian, Arabic, and Indian stations in a fast-paced GCC restaurant. This entry-to-mid-level role reports to the Chef de Partie and focuses on practical skill development.

You will assist with mise en place, prep, plating, and cleanliness while adhering to HACCP and halal standards, with opportunities to learn across multiple cuisines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts preferred; graduates welcome.
• Food hygiene or food-safety certification compliant with GCC standards required before start.
• Interest in cooking across multiple cuisines (French, Italian, Arabic, Indian).

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Partie and seniors with mise en place for all stations.
• Support live service by performing prep, plating, and station readiness.
• Develop foundational cooking skills across French, Italian, Arabic, and Indian cuisines.
• Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and quality specs; report issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and practice FIFO inventory.
• Adhere to GCC HACCP, halal rules, and safety procedures; raise hazards as needed.
• Be flexible to assist across stations and support a harmonious kitchen team.
