Job summary

AccorHotel in Doha is seeking a dedicated Commis I to join the Room Service Kitchen. You will prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards, assist in daily operations, and ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.

You will help maintain cleanliness, monitor stock levels, follow food safety regulations, and support senior chefs while working flexibly, including weekends and holidays, in a collaborative hotel team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Commis I or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Experience in room service, la carte, or hot kitchen operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in the daily operations of the Room Service Kitchen
• Ensure all room service orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations equipment and storage areas
• Follow HACCP and food safety regulations at all times
• Monitor food quality freshness and stock levels
• Assist in receiving storing and rotating food supplies
• Support senior chefs in food preparation and kitchen operations
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies hygiene standards and health regulations
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
