Job summary

AimGulf invites applications for a Clinical Coder in Qatar to review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10 and procedural codes in line with facility guidelines and payer requirements.

We require at least 2 years of clinical coding experience, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Health Information Management or related field, and strong medical terminology, analytical skills, accuracy and confidentiality. You will collaborate with clinical staff to resolve coding queries and support audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Clinical Coding, or a related field.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and applicable procedure coding systems, such as CPT or HCPCS, as required by the facility.
• Strong medical terminology, analytical, accuracy, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes.
• Clarify coding queries with clinical staff.
• Follow applicable coding guidelines, payer requirements, and confidentiality policies.
• Support coding audits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate coding records.
