Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting/finance cert is a plus.
• Experience as Cashier in hospital, clinic or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with payments, receipts, cash reconciliation, and records.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and other payments for hospital services and charges.
• Collect payments and issue receipts in line with billing procedures.
• Generate invoices and payment confirmations accurately.
• Verify billing details and coordinate with reception/registration to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist patients with payment questions and explain charges professionally.
• Operate POS terminals, billing software, and electronic payment systems.
• Maintain daily cash records, refunds, and receipts; reconcile end of shift.
• Handle refunds and payment adjustments per procedures.
• Coordinate with accounts and finance on billing errors and balances.
