Job summary

ALM Data Systems is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Presales Engineer specializing in Cisco Security to support enterprise and government customers in Qatar. You will design, demonstrate, and propose security architectures that protect critical environments while enabling digital transformation.

The role requires 4+ years in presales or security architecture, strong Cisco Security expertise, and excellent communication with technical and executive stakeholders across GCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Presales, Solutions Engineering, Security Consulting, or Security Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Security technologies and platforms.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, architecture documents, BOMs/BOQs, and bid responses.

Responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise and government customers to understand security requirements.
• Design Cisco Security architectures aligned with customer strategies and compliance.
• Prepare High-Level/Low-Level Designs, BOMs, and BOQs.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue cybersecurity opportunities.
• Provide expert technical consultation throughout the sales cycle.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices.
