Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking a senior cybersecurity architect to provide hands-on support to security architecture activities, reviews, and advisory services across enterprise systems, cloud environments, and applications.

The role requires deep knowledge of security controls, threat modeling, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with business units, project teams, and security stakeholders. English and Arabic proficiency is required. This position is based in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (Cybersecurity, CS, or IT) with higher degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in cybersecurity or IT security roles, with 3+ years in architecture/engineering.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF preferred.
• Proficiency in English & Arabic required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to security architecture activities and reviews.
• Develop and maintain security control libraries and standards.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security gap analyses.
• Collaborate with security architects, SOC, IT teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor CSEA team members.
