Job summary

Qatar Foundation International seeks a Head of Patron Experience to optimize library services, spaces, and digital resources for diverse patrons. You will lead research, drive innovative UX projects, and collaborate across departments to implement AI-enabled inclusive solutions.

You will guide staff training, develop KPIs, and report on impact, aiming to improve patron satisfaction and accessibility across physical and digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Experience with complex digital content management systems with search and browse interfaces.
• Familiarity with online access to digital cultural heritage.
• Knowledge of design thinking and design sprint methodologies.
• Excellent communication and user research skills.
• Experience collaborating with IT and visual design teams.
• Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UI prototyping tools and online research tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research with surveys, interviews, observations, and usability testing for physical and digital experiences.
• Analyze patron feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Propose user-centered solutions based on research and usability findings.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patron satisfaction and engagement.
• Lead innovative projects to increase accessibility and usage of QNL spaces and programs.
• Collaborate with technology and service design teams to implement cutting-edge solutions, including AI tools.
• Address access barriers for physical and digital spaces with stakeholders.
• Support staff through training and advocacy for user-centered practices.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure UX initiatives.
• Lead program feedback reporting and drive program enhancements.
• Ensure continuous improvement of library programs from feedback and data.
