Job summary

Qatar Foundation International seeks a senior program manager to lead the Herfah program and Al Khater House initiatives. You will oversee planning, curriculum development, partnerships, and research to promote traditional arts and heritage education, with a focus on quality and impact.

The role emphasizes budget oversight, vendor management, and strengthening cultural collaboration across local and international institutions to enhance visitor experience and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Fine Arts, Art History, Cultural Management, or related discipline
• 8-10 years of relevant full-time work experience in program management, cultural institutions, or traditional arts education, 3 of which at supervisory level
• Experience managing creative or cultural programs with knowledge of traditional arts, Islamic visual arts, sacred geometry
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is desirable
• International experience in cultural program management, preferably in the Middle East or heritage preservation is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage program planning and annual priority setting for Al Khater House and the Herfah program
• Design and refine curriculum and annual program calendar, incorporating lessons learned
• Guide research and content development related to traditional arts and heritage practices
• Support budget development and manage contractor/vendor relationships for financial discipline
• Improve house operations, program delivery, and visitor engagement
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance of programs, exhibitions, workshops, and events
