Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of food safety procedures as well as local health codes
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Outstanding organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of different cuisines from around the world is preferred but not required

Position Overview:

He/She must be creative, organized, and enthusiastic about the food industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, creating menus and recipes, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety regulations, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to company standards.

Responsibilities:

The Chef will oversee the kitchen staff in their daily tasks and ensure that all meals are cooked to perfection. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for creating weekly menus that include both healthy and flavorful dishes. Other responsibilities include ordering supplies, monitoring inventory levels, managing budgets, adhering to health and safety regulations, training new staff members, developing recipes and menus on request from customers, ensuring customer satisfaction is met at all times, conducting regular quality checks of ingredients used in preparation of food items.
