Job summary

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to manage a specific kitchen station in our Hawaiian-Asian street food kitchen. You will work with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain standards and lead your section with confidence.

Responsibilities include owning your station during service, cooking to recipe standards, guiding junior staff, ensuring mise en place, and monitoring portion control and waste while upholding food safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional kitchen experience with at least 1 year at CDP level.
• Strong knowledge of techniques relevant to the assigned station.
• Ability to lead and motivate junior kitchen staff.
• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation and hygiene.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen station during service.
• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards and quality specifications.
• Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen helpers at your station.
• Ensure mise en place is complete and the station is ready before service.
• Monitor portion control, waste, and stock levels at your section.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
