Nakilat is seeking a highly experienced commercial shipping leader to manage chartering, commercial operations and related agreements. You will coordinate across Fleet, Legal and management to maximize fleet utilization and secure favorable terms with national and international clients.

The role emphasizes expanding Nakilat’s commercial shipping services, maintaining key customer relationships in Qatar and beyond, and driving efficiency through cross‑unit synergies and strategic project support.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation or related field.
• 8–10 years in oil/gas transport and LNG/LPG chartering.
• Maritime industry experience with post-fixture operations.
• Strong knowledge of charter-party proformas and regulations.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute chartering strategy to optimize fleet utilization and earnings.
• Negotiate shipping contracts and charter party terms with stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual obligations are communicated and adhered to.
• Oversee financial impact of contracts and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Fleet, Legal and JV partners for optimization.
• Identify new trading patterns and chartering opportunities.
• Prepare bi-annual board packages on Operational/Financial performance.
