Spinnaker Global Limited is representing a leading maritime group seeking a Head of Chartering in Doha. You will lead chartering and commercial shipping activities, optimise fleet performance and develop new business opportunities, reporting to Commercial Manager.

You will manage chartering and post-fixture teams, negotiate charter parties, and build lasting relationships with shipowners and charterers while maximising vessel utilisation and earnings.

Formación

• 8-10 years experience in oil and/or gas transportation, including 3-5 years in LNG/LPG chartering or commercial management.
• Strong knowledge of charter parties, shipping contracts and commercial claims.
• Proven ability to negotiate agreements and build lasting relationships with shipowners, charterers and market participants.
• Sound commercial judgement and understanding of shipping economics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute chartering strategies across owned, joint venture, and chartered-in vessels.
• Negotiate charter parties and other shipping agreements, overseeing performance and commercial claims.
• Identify and evaluate chartering opportunities, new markets and partnerships.
• Optimize fleet deployment, voyage costs and commercial returns with operational teams.
• Provide market intelligence, commercial analysis, budgets and performance reporting to support management decisions.
• Lead and develop the team across chartering, commercial operations and post-fixture activities.
