Job summary

Pullman Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a dedicated Banquet Waiter to support events, conferences, weddings and special occasions with professional service and flawless execution.

You will set up banquet spaces, assist with service flow, coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Waiter or Food & Beverage Server in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food-handling practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet venues according to event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, and service equipment
• Provide professional food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, following service sequences and quality standards
• Attend pre‑function briefings to understand event requirements, menus, and service flow
• Liaise with supervisors, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth service execution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
• Clear tables and reset spaces promptly and efficiently between courses or events
• Handle guest requests and queries politely, escalating issues when necessary
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety standards
• Follow hotel policies, brand standards, and grooming guidelines
• Assist with breakdown and storage of banquet equipment after events
• Support colleagues and supervisors to ensure overall guest satisfaction
