Job summary

RISE Enterprise is seeking a Food and Drinks Runner / Assistant Waiter to support a smooth service flow in a high-end dining environment in Doha. You will transport orders between kitchen, bar, and guest tables under supervision, ensuring accuracy and presentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with table setup, clearing between courses, communicating with kitchen staff, and staying knowledgeable about the menu to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a food runner, busser, or assistant waiter preferred.
• Experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment preferred.
• Good physical stamina and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collect orders from kitchen and bar and deliver to correct guest tables.
• Assist waiters and Restaurant Supervisor with table setup, clearing, and resetting.
• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to track order status and delivery times.
• Support service team with replenishing table essentials.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients, and preparation to assist in service.
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart.

Job Summary: The Food and Drinks Runner / Assistant Waiter supports the smooth and efficient flow of service by transporting food and beverage orders between the kitchen, bar, and guest tables. Working under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor, this role assists the waiting team in delivering a seamless, attentive, and elevated dining experience consistent with the restaurant’s high-end service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collect food and beverage orders promptly from the kitchen and bar, verifying accuracy and presentation before delivering them to the correct guest table.
• Assist waiters and the Restaurant Supervisor with table setup, clearing, and resetting between courses and covers, maintaining a smooth service flow.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to track order status and ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks, especially during peak service periods.
• Support the service team with replenishing table essentials throughout the guest’s dining experience.
• Maintain full knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation, to assist waiters in delivering dishes to the correct guest and table.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests depart, ensuring dining areas remain clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and grooming standards, and report any service issues or guest concerns to the Restaurant Supervisor.
• Perform related tasks required for the operation as assigned by the line manager.
