Job summary

The role focuses on quality checks, performance analysis, SOP development, and collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure high-standard service delivery.

You will stay updated on automotive tech trends, provide guidance in complex repairs, enforce safety guidelines, and foster a productive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Automotive manufacturing, assembly, or production.
• Qatar, GCC.
• English.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Oversee a team of technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
• Conduct regular quality checks on vehicles before they are delivered to customers, ensuring repairs, maintenance, and installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor and analyze technical performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the department manager and technicians to develop and implement SOPs and best practices for consistent service delivery.
• Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology, tools, and equipment, and provide upgrade recommendations.
• Serve as a technical resource and provide guidance to technicians in complex repair or diagnostic situations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols within the technical department.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct trainings or workshops for technicians to share knowledge and updates.
• Set clear expectations and objectives aligned with department and company goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment and promote teamwork and communication.
• Delegate tasks considering team skills and development needs.
• Monitor performance and implement productivity and quality improvements.
• Conduct regular team meetings and address challenges.
• Collaborate with department manager to optimize workflows and processes.
• Act as escalation point for issues and provide guidance as needed.
• Manage team resources and submit performance reports.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department
