Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive seeks a Service Advisor at our Quick Service Center to manage customer interactions, prepare job cards, provide detailed estimates, and ensure timely service delivery.

You will handle cash and petty cash, assist with parts queries, monitor inventory, promote parts and accessories sales, and uphold quality standards and SOPs across the service workflow.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset within a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience at an automobile dealership as a Service Advisor.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and greet customers promptly.
• Record customer requests accurately and sympathetically.
• Collect precise symptoms of complaints from customers for effective resolution.
• Explain job details and estimates to customers.
• Deliver the vehicle personally and explain the invoice to customers.
• Prepare and manage job cards efficiently.
• Monitor workshop operations and promise delivery times accordingly.
• Follow up on jobs in the workshop and obtain approvals for additional repairs.
• Process and record all cash transactions accurately within 24-hour timeframes.
• Assist customers at the parts counter with expert knowledge on parts and accessories.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and cycle counts for accuracy.
• Oversee parts returns and inspect for quality and proper documentation.
• Promote additional parts and accessories sales to meet revenue targets.
• Comply with company quality guidelines and SOPs, reporting all incidents.
