Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Manager in overseeing security operations for hotel facilities. You will help develop, implement and enforce security policies, train staff, and coordinate incidents and investigations.

The role involves supervising security personnel, liaising with law enforcement, and maintaining safe environments for guests and employees. GCC experience is a plus for collaboration across the region.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures to enforce safety.
• Experience using surveillance cameras, alarm systems and access controls.
• Ability to act decisively in emergencies and to prepare incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Guests and external authorities including law enforcement and officials.
• Direct and coordinate activities of security personnel.
• Ensure all hotel areas and property are secured at all times.
• Coordinate with police for investigations involving the hotel, staff or guests.
• Prepare daily incident reports and internal memos.
• Investigate all security incidents and maintain records.
• Establish annual security goals and liaise with department heads.
• Join the appropriate Hotel Security Officers Association and establish key controls.
• Safekeep found property deposited with Security.
