Job summary

Banyan Tree Doha is seeking a dedicated Security Manager to lead safety initiatives for guests, staff, and property. You will help implement security strategies, manage emergencies, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising security operations, controlling access, coordinating with Engineering, and training teams on security best practices and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing hotel security policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to supervise security operations and loss prevention.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety standards and crisis management.
• Ability to coordinate with Engineering, HR and authorities on security matters.
• Experience training staff in security awareness and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor hotel security policies and standards.
• Supervise daily security operations, patrols, and access control.
• Manage visitor passes, contractor access and confidentiality of records.
• Coordinate with Engineering for safety equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Lead emergency drills, evacuations, and crisis response.
• Train security and hotel staff on procedures and responsibilities.
• Ensure IMS compliance across Quality, Environment, OH&S, and Food Safety.
• Collaborate with Police, Fire Brigade and relevant authorities.
