Job summary

GHD is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a High Voltage Electrical Engineering background to join the Construction Phase Services Team in Doha, Qatar. You will lead a Construction Supervision team of Engineers and Inspectors and coordinate with the Project Manager and Technical Director to deliver multiple packages within a single project boundary.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
12–14 years of experience in project management and construction supervision consultancy services.
Strong understanding of construction supervision processes, QA/QC, and safety.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and managing design review and construction supervision activities, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design and engineering review teams and ensure timely delivery of submittals and shop drawings upon review.
Support quality assurance processes, risk management, and compliance with relevant standards.
Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and meeting documentation for internal and client reviews.
Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution by the Construction Contractor.
