Job summary

GHD in Doha, Qatar seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design review and construction supervision for major infrastructure and buildings projects. The role supports the Package Manager and Resident Engineer, reviewing submittals, coordinating technical work, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in civil/structural design review and/or construction supervision.
• MME registration preferred.
• Knowledge of international codes and local authorities and utilities requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Resident Engineer with contractual responsibilities on the project.
• Review civil and structural shop drawings, submittals, method statements, RFIs and TQs.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.
• Perform site inspections and witness tests; raise non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and authorities; support technical issue resolution.
