Job summary

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Reservations professional in Doha to handle incoming requests by phone, fax, and mail. You will verify room availability, explain rates and policies, and document guest preferences while maintaining service standards across all interactions.

You will input data into the reservation system, manage special reservation types, and follow escalation procedures to resolve guest concerns, contributing to revenue optimization and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type.
• Verify availability of room type and rate.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests.
• Input and access data in the reservation system.
• Input correct codes and rates for special reservation types (complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, wholesale reservations).
• Follow escalation procedures for addressing guest concerns.
