Job summary

EY in Doha is seeking an Arabic-speaking Manager or Senior Manager to lead complex external audit engagements and propel business growth. You will build relationships with clients and colleagues, elevate risk awareness, and mentor junior team members to advance their development.

You will manage delivery by setting audit strategy with partners, directing teams, and ensuring adherence to EY policies, while balancing staffing and fees on engagements.

Qualifications

• Eight years of professional experience in external audit.
• Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ CA).
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Arabic language.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of audit engagements by defining audit strategy with leaders and executing in line with EY policies.
• Personally execute complex audit procedures and oversee teams on engagements of varying size.
• Manage staffing, track fees, and communicate issues to project leaders.
• Support business development initiatives and foster a learning culture for junior staff.
