Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of public accounting/audit experience.
• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• IFRS knowledge and standards applied in audits.
• International accounting qualification required (CA/ACCA/CPA).
• Fluent in English; Arabic/English bilinguals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds trust by addressing stakeholder needs and providing constructive challenge on engagement issues.
• Reviews transaction flows and tests of controls early in the audit cycle.
• Suggests mitigations when controls are ineffective, with appropriate consultation.
• Engages with group risk assessment and communicates expectations to management.
• Performs reviews with professional skepticism and ensures audit quality.
• Complies with auditing standards, ethics, independence and firm quality controls.
