Job summary

BSL is seeking an IMS Maintenance Support Engineer to support Maintenance Tasking & Verification at strategic and tactical levels, driving efficiency and cost savings. The role emphasizes reliable data integrity, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and coordination with multiple teams to optimise airworthiness processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC level in a relevant Data Management or Technical discipline, or Part 66 Category A qualified.
• Recent in-depth experience in a Maintenance & Support environment, including fleets and Continuing Airworthiness Records.
• Understanding of reliability programmes and impact on operator maintenance.
• Good grasp of data integrity for fleet planning and maintenance tasking & verification.
• Provide direction to data integrity teams on records issues, fleet-wide.
• Human factors and E&PW course attended.
• UK Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Analyse maintenance requirements against Tactical Fleet plan and Fleet Maintenance Plan, create SoW, resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain work packages with technical instructions, resources, and materiel for maintenance.
• Plan additional and emergent work, update SoW and re-authorise as needed.
• Collaborate with Fleet Planning, Demand Management, Part 145, Technical Services, Airworthiness Records and third parties.
• Review maintenance task effectiveness, SoW, PIRM/PORM processes, and escalate trends.
• Assess changes in Customer requirements for impact on Maintenance Tasking & Verification.
• Ensure maintenance activity inspected and approved per certificate, authorise or defer as required.
