Job summary

BSL seeks an experienced Weapons Junior Supervisor to oversee maintenance and diagnostic work on Typhoon aircraft and components. You will ensure airworthiness through proper task delegation and authorization, leading a skilled team in a dynamic environment.

You will supervise staff, develop competencies through assessments, and maintain accurate airworthiness records in line with AMC requirements. Your role includes reporting milestones to keep the program on schedule and safety standards high.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering or military equivalent.
• 3+ years' Typhoon maintenance experience.
• City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance and diagnostic tasks on Typhoon aircraft and components.
• Ensure airworthiness by proper task delegation and authorization under AMC/MOE.
• Coach and develop team members, perform PDRs and training requests.
• Record maintenance activities and maintain airworthiness records.
• Coordinate with wider program and report issues impacting schedule.
