Eurotux is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to install, configure, and manage company systems. The role includes monitoring infrastructure, participating in projects, and resolving incidents to ensure service quality.

The candidate should have higher education in Computer Science or related fields, with experience in virtualization, backups, Windows, networks, and diverse services, plus willingness to travel in Portugal and speak English.

Qualificações

• Experience with virtualization, backups, Windows, networks and hardware.
• Knowledge of services: Apache, MySQL/SQL Server, iptables, virtualization, and email servers (qmail, postfix).
• Availability to provide 24×7 services and travel in Portugal.
• Good knowledge of the English.

Job Description

Its main responsibilities are:

• Installation, configuration and administration of systems;
• Monitoring and support to computer infrastructure;
• Participation in infrastructure projects;
• Analysis and resolution of incidents in computer systems;
• Ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Higher education in Computer Science or related areas (certifications and professional experience are valued);
• Experience in virtualization, backups, Windows, networks and hardware, among others;
• Knowledge in different services: Apache, Databases (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.), Firewall iptables, Virtualization (xen and others), Email servers (qmail, postfix, etc.);
• Availability to provide 24×7 services and travel in Portugal;
• Good knowledge of the English;
• Versatility, flexibility, proactivity and dynamism are mandatory characteristics;
• Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills;
• Interest for learning and new challenges;
• Sense of responsibility and rigor, with good analytical skills, planning, organization and time management;
• Preference for immediate availability.
