Hexa Consulting is seeking a Systems Administrator to join client operations in Lisbon. This role is hybrid, requiring presence in the office two days per week.

You will manage Linux and Windows Server environments, oversee virtualization platforms, monitor performance, and ensure system reliability, documenting procedures and communicating clearly with tech teams. Applicants should have 5+ years of experience, strong English, and a collaborative, proactive mindset; certifications such as RHCE

Responsabilidades

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Manage virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and/or Proxmox VE.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and service continuity.
• Analyze and troubleshoot systems, network, and application issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear technical communication.
• Perform technical testing and produce accurate documentation and operational reporting.
• Support cloud and on-premises infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement, optimize, and standardize infrastructure solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration, infrastructure operations, or similar technical roles.
• Strong experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Solid knowledge of virtualization platforms and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring, system operations, and service continuity.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems, network, and application issues autonomously.
• Good technical documentation and communication skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Collaborative, responsible, and solution-oriented working style.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Relevant certifications such as RHCE, VCP, MCSE, or equivalent.

Compensation Transparency

Base salary range: EUR 17 000 - EUR 28 000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 33 000/year

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
