Eurotux is seeking a Networking Administrator to install, configure, and manage network systems in Portugal. The role includes monitoring network infrastructures, engaging in projects to implement and optimize networks, and resolving issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.

You will work with switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs, and will travel within Portugal as needed. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Networks is required.
• Certifications such as Sophos Firewall, Checkpoint, CCNA, CCNP are preferred.
• Experience configuring and managing switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP and monitoring tools.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 support and travel within Portugal.
• Proficient in English; proactive and analytical.

Networking Administrator

Job Description

• Install, configure, and manage network systems.
• Monitor and provide support for network infrastructures.
• Engage in projects aimed at the implementation and optimization of networks.
• Analyse and resolve issues within network infrastructures.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, or a related field is required. Candidates with certifications such as Sophos Firewall, Checkpoint, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and relevant professional experience will be given preference.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, etc.) and network monitoring tools.
• Experience in network security measures, including firewall setups, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN configurations.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 support and travel within Portugal.
• Proficient in English.
• The ability to adapt, be proactive, and dynamic are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong desire to learn and take on new challenges.
• Highly responsible and meticulous, with strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Preference given to candidates who are immediately available.
