A leading IT services company is seeking a Cloud / Wintel Administrator to join their remote team in Portugal. In this role, you will manage Windows Server environments, design cloud solutions, and develop automation scripts. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Windows Server and PowerShell, along with strong English skills for communication with international teams. Qualificações

Proven experience with Windows Server engineering and maintenance.
Hands-on knowledge of SCADA applications and their integration.
Skilled in managing Citrix infrastructure.
Familiar with Openshift and Azure cloud platforms.
Strong scripting and automation background, especially in PowerShell.
Proficient in English for daily international communication.

Responsabilidades

Configure and maintain Windows Server environments.
Design, deploy, and manage Containers and new landing zones.
Maintain and package Citrix environments.
Develop and manage PowerShell scripts for automation.
Manage Hiera YAML files for Ansible and Puppet configurations.
Set up monitoring systems using Zabbix and Kibana.
Document processes for Run/Operations teams.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Windows System Administrator to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams working fully remote for clients across the Netherlands and other European countries.

What you will do

Configure and maintain Windows Server environments;
Design, deploy, and manage Containers and new landing zones;
Maintain and package Citrix environments (image processes, app packaging);
Develop and manage robust PowerShell scripts for automation and maintenance;
Manage and write Hiera YAML files for Ansible and Puppet configurations;
Set up and support monitoring systems using Zabbix and Kibana;
Ensure strong, clear documentation for Run/Operations teams post-go-live;
Maintain close, professional communication with end clients.

What you are like

Proven experience with Windows Server engineering and maintenance;
Have hands‑on knowledge of SCADA applications and their integration;
Skilled in Citrix infrastructure management;
Familiar with Openshift and Azure cloud platforms;
Experienced in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and DevOps practices;
Have strong scripting and automation background, especially in PowerShell;
