Zoi in Lisbon is expanding its European team and seeks a web tracking engineer to lead GA4 migration, build robust tagging infrastructure with GTM, and manage data layer implementations across new e-commerce platforms and web apps.

You will work on consent management with OneTrust CMP, third-party tags, testing, and dashboards to visualize KPIs, collaborating across teams with strong English communication. Remote-friendly with travel between locations in Europe.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in web tracking and tagging.
• Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with ability to write clean code.
• Experience with Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4) and GTM.
• Understanding data layer concepts and implementation for data integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead GA4 migration and implementation for seamless transition.
• Design, develop, and maintain tracking infrastructure using GTM for client-side and server-side tagging.
• Define and implement a comprehensive data layer for key user interactions and events.
• Explore and implement server-side tagging solutions using Cloud Run.
• Contribute to technical design and implementation of tracking across web apps.

What You Do

• GA4 Migration & Implementation: Lead the setup and implementation of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), ensuring a seamless transition from our existing analytics platform.
• Tracking & Tagging Infrastructure: Design, develop, and maintain a robust tracking and tagging infrastructure across our web properties, utilizing Google Tag Manager (GTM) for both client-side and server-side tagging.
• Data Layer Management: Define and implement a comprehensive data layer to capture key user interactions and website events, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Cloud Run Integration: Explore and implement server-side tagging solutions using Cloud Run to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
• Technical Expertise: Contribute to the technical design and implementation of web tracking solutions across our new e-commerce platform and other web applications.
• Consent Management: Implement and manage consent mechanisms for data collection, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations using OneTrust CMP.
• 3rd Party Tag Management: Manage and implement third-party tags and pixels, including marketing and advertising tracking solutions.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of tracking implementations to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Reporting & Dashboarding: Create meaningful reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.

Who You Are

• Proven Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience in web tracking and tagging, with a deep understanding of industry best practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
• Analytics Platform Mastery: Extensive experience with Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4) including tag management system (GTM).
• Data Layer Knowledge: Solid understanding of data layer concepts and implementation, ensuring data consistency and accessibility.
• Consent Management: Familiarity with consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust CMP) and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve tracking discrepancies and data anomalies.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proficient English skills, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
