Contisystems, a leading provider in document management and multichannel communications, seeks a Warehouse & Logistics Operations Lead in Cascais, Portugal. The role oversees daily tasks, inventory control, and coordination across production, logistics, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has logistics training and strong Excel skills, with experience in warehouse coordination and a focus on process improvement and compliance with quality and security standards.

Qualificações

• 12th grade; technical and vocational training in logistics is preferred.
• Experience in operational warehouse coordination roles.
• Knowledge of best practices in organization, storage, and handling of materials.
• Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in managing incoming/outgoing goods and inventory.
• Strong organizational and team coordination abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to proactively identify and correct deviations.
• Knowledge of Primavera inventory module is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Help organize and assign daily tasks to the operational team.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, and storage of goods and raw materials.
• Coordinate shipping, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met.
• Support and supervise loading and unloading of goods.
• Ensure stock and inventory records are kept up to date in the warehouse management systems.
• Ensure warehouse is organized, clean, and safe.
• Coordinate among production, logistics, and purchasing teams for smooth operations.
• Identify and propose improvements in warehousing and shipping processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality, information security, data protection, and sustainability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help organize and assign daily tasks to the operational team;
• Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods and raw materials;
• Coordinate shipping, ensuring that deadlines and specifications are met;
• Support and supervise the loading and unloading of goods;
• Ensure that stock and inventory records are kept up to date in the warehouse management systems;
• Ensure that the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe;
• Ensure coordination among the production, logistics, and purchasing teams to guarantee the smooth flow of operations;
• Identify and propose opportunities for continuous improvement in the warehousing and shipping processes;
• Ensure compliance with the quality, information security, data protection, and sustainability requirements applicable to warehouse operations.

Desired profile:

• 12th grade; technical and vocational training in logistics is preferred;
• Experience in operational warehouse coordination roles;
• Knowledge of best practices in the organization, storage, and handling of materials;
• Computer skills from the user's perspective, particularly Microsoft Excel;
• Experience in managing incoming and outgoing goods and inventory;

• Knowledge of the Primavera system in the inventory module will be valued;
• Certification in the operation and handling of mechanical material-handling equipment will be valued.
