Capgemini Engineering Porto is seeking a Frontend Developer to build responsive, interactive web apps using Vanilla JS and modern frameworks. You will collaborate with designers and product owners to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

You will implement animations, reusable components, and ensure cross-browser compatibility while optimizing performance in an agile team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience with Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building interactive user interfaces and animations for web.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend practices.
• Experience with React or Angular.

YOUR ROLE

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating highly interactive and visually engaging web experiences. You will work closely with designers, product owners, and development teams to build modern user interfaces, implement rich content animations, and deliver seamless digital experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing responsive and interactive web applications using Vanilla JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Creating smooth and engaging content animations and interactive visual experiences.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers to translate creative concepts into high-quality digital products.
• Building reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working in agile environments and contributing to the full development lifecycle.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience with Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building interactive user interfaces and implementing animations for web content.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React or Angular.
• Good knowledge of responsive design principles and browser compatibility.
• Understanding of component-based architecture and frontend performance optimization.
• Ability to work closely with design teams and transform visual concepts into functional interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Portuguese Native and professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Background in Design, Digital Media, Motion Design, or Interactive Experiences.
• Experience in the Gaming Industry or with interactive applications.
• Hands-on experience with Unity or game development environments.
• Knowledge of animation libraries such as GSAP, Three.js, Framer Motion, or similar technologies.
• Experience with WebGL, Canvas API, or creative coding projects.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments.
• Portfolio showcasing interactive, animated, or visually rich web applications.
