Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build scalable, high-performance Angular applications and own features end-to-end.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Engineers and Architects, driving frontend architecture and contributing to CI/CD and automated testing in a hybrid Porto environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and RxJS.
• Experience building scalable enterprise applications and responsive UIs.

YOUR ROLE

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Take ownership of features throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement responsive, accessible, and user‑centric interfaces, integrating backend services through REST APIs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Architects to deliver business-driven solutions.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical decisions, and the adoption of engineering best practices.
• Ensure application quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years of experience in frontend software development.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and RxJS.
• Experience building scalable enterprise applications and responsive user interfaces.
• Knowledge of micro frontends, Web Components, REST API integrations, and state management solutions such as NgRx.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams.
