CloserHire is recruiting a Ukrainian-speaking interpreter for a fully remote role based in Portugal. The job requires EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit. You will translate between Ukrainian and English, maintaining accuracy and tone across Insurance, Legal and Medical domains.

The 1237€ package reflects base compensation with remote work benefits. You will join a dynamic multilingual team, work from home in Portugal, and operate on a rotational shift, supporting 24/7 service.

Qualificações

• Ukrainian language level, both oral and written, plus C1 English (mandatory)
• Education in languages/translation/interpretation or related fields will be an advantage
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication
• Neutral and objective with strong time management

Responsabilidades

• Translate accurately between Ukrainian and English, capturing tone and style
• Follow customer instructions and preserve all details of the conversation
• Manage call flow without taking over the call
• Adhere to customer service protocols and terminology across Insurance, Legal, Medical domains

Who the employer is

Join our client’s full work from home Ukrainian Team in Portugal and provide excellent Ukrainian to English translations. You require EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit for this role.

The work

The role centres on render correct concepts and meanings between Ukrainian and English following complexity, clarity, tone, and style from one language into another, uphold the correct rules for grammar and syntax in both languages, provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation, follow instructions of customers, manage the flow of the call and avoid taking over the call, and understand protocol and terminology at the customer service level in the following industries: Insurance, Legal, Medicine (General and Forensic).
