Critical Manufacturing SA in Porto (Maia) is seeking an experienced UI/UX Lead to drive user experience strategy and lead a design team building MES and industrial automation software. You will bridge complex workflows with human-centered design for shop floor operators, managers, and engineers.

You will mentor designers, shape frameworks, and collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver intuitive, compliant interfaces that improve efficiency and data usability on the shop

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX product design in enterprise software.
• 2+ years leading design teams.
• Expert in high-density data visualization and complex information architecture.
• Strong English communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead & Mentor: manage and develop a dedicated UI/UX design team and researchers.
• Resource & Capacity Management: allocate design resources and lead hiring for UI/UX talent.
• Establish UX frameworks tailored to shop floor conditions and operator workflows.
• Scale and maintain an industrial-grade Design System for high-density data and tactile interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to shape roadmaps and capture user insights.
• Conduct contextual research to translate plant constraints into design requirements.
• Ensure UI/UX workflows support industry regulations and audit trails.
