Job summary

HN Services Portugal seeks a Trading Controller to reinforce internal controls within an international banking environment in Lisbon. You will monitor trading activities for breaches and contribute to strengthening risk controls.

• Perform conduct and regulatory controls on Sales and Traders activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform conduct and regulatory controls on Sales and Traders activities.
• Analyse financial transactions to detect potential unauthorised trading activities and propose appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to a strong and resilient internal control framework, minimising operational and fraud risks.
• Monitor processes and identify potential weaknesses, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update the Optim(le) referential, covering book/portfolio and Trader/Sales mandates.
• Coordinate with different teams and stakeholders, including Conduct, Tax, Legal and Compliance.
• Manage ad-hoc requests from Management and Business teams within a global scope.
• Coordinate monthly statistical reporting and KPI management, ensuring the relevance and reliability of indicators.
• Prepare analysis, summaries and reports adapted to different stakeholders and management levels.
• Organise and present meetings, communicating findings and results effectively.
• Experience in Financial Markets, Trading or Middle Office Operations.
• Good understanding of financial markets, trading activities and operational processes.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk management and regulatory frameworks is valued.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify irregularities and potential risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and adapt processes, manage priorities and deliver results.
