Axians Portugal is seeking an Unauthorized Trading Controller to join a project within the banking sector in Lisbon. You will contribute to maintaining a strong control framework across trading and financial operations, monitor transactions, identify breaches, and support reporting and analysis.

You will collaborate with Financial Markets, Trading, Operations and Middle Office teams to mitigate risk and drive operational excellence. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and English fluency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance and Accounting.
• 0–2 years experience in Banking/Financial Operations.
• MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to a strong control framework within the company.
• Identify and analyse several financial transactions to discover potential breaches and report them properly.
• Minimize the operational risks and the risks of fraud by keeping a critical eye on their processes.
• Produces synthesis, analysis and reporting adapted to the target objectives.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Unauthorized Trading Controller to join a project within the banking sector. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining a strong and effective control framework across trading and financial operations activities. You will be responsible for monitoring financial transactions, identifying potential breaches and operational risks, ensuring the reliability of key indicators, and supporting reporting and analysis activities. Working closely with Financial Markets, Trading, Operations, and Middle Office teams, you will play a key role in risk mitigation and operational excellence.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Contribute to a strong and resilient control framework within the company.
• Identify and analysed several financial transactions to discover potential breaches and report them properly.
• Minimize the operational risks and the risks of fraud by keeping a critical eye on their processes.
• Confidence in the setup and presentation of meetings at different levels.
• Contribute for statistical reporting and KPIs.
• Closely monitors and controls the relevant indicators to ensure their relevance and reliability.
• Produces synthesis, analysis and reporting adapted to the target objectives.
• Working on Financial Markets, Trading, Operations and Processes and Middle Office Operations.
