Job description

About iCliGo

iCliGo is a Portuguese multinational company, founded in 2014, that is transforming the way people travel and work in tourism. We provide people passionate about travel with the technology, training, and support they need to build their own business as independent travel consultants — our Travel Partners.Today, we are a leading company in the sector in Portugal and are already present in several international markets, growing at a fast pace with our eyes set on the world. All of this is made possible by a team that takes pride in doing things well and caring for those who grow with us — because we truly invest in our people, their training, and their development.

About the Role

We are looking for a Tourism Technician to join our Reservations Department. This is a back-office role focused on the complete operational management of reservations, from start to finish — with the accuracy and attention to detail you already know from working with a tour operator or travel agency.You are the person who ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes: the technical side, the problem-solving, the part that turns every reservation into a memorable experience. You work closely with Travel Partners, who are in direct contact with the traveller — you provide the technical expertise that supports every booking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage reservations — creating, modifying, and cancelling bookings;
  • Provide support to Travel Partners;
  • Liaise with suppliers;
  • Manage flight reservations using GDS systems (preferably Amadeus and/or Galileo);
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have
  • A higher education qualification in Tourism and/or a related field (preferred);
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in similar roles (a plus);
  • A genuine interest in the tourism sector;
  • Good command of English;
  • A dynamic, assertive, and enthusiastic profile;
  • Strong organisational skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
What We Value Above All
  • More than a CV, we are looking for a person.
  • Someone who is truly a team player — someone who helps the team grow rather than working alone.
  • Someone with a passion for what they do, reflected in every detail.
  • Someone who knows how to treat others well, because behind every reservation there is a person.
  • And someone with that wow factor — someone who goes beyond expectations and leaves a lasting impression.
What We Offer
  • Hybrid working model — with genuine flexibility to work from home;
  • Competitive salary, according to experience;
  • Annual bonus based on productivity;
  • Health insurance;
  • Meal allowance;
  • 2 additional days of annual leave (including your birthday);
  • Access to the Udemy Academy;
  • Monthly allowance to support remote working;
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, organised fairly and shared across the team — with additional compensation;
  • Net-rate travel deals.
Why iCliGo?
  • A hybrid working model and a genuine work-life balance;
  • A technological and innovative environment where you will master new tools and ways of working — and grow as a professional;
  • A growing company with international reach;
  • Real opportunities for professional growth and development;
  • A team that values people who do things well and treat others well.

  • Initial screening call (10–15 minutes)
