Vodafone in Portugal is seeking an experienced cloud and virtualization specialist to lead delivery of European solutions. You will design and evolve on-prem/cloud infrastructure using Red Hat, VMware, and containerization with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and related tools.

The role requires coordinating with suppliers, automating VNF/CNF delivery, and managing budgets and timelines. We value hands-on experience in Red Hat/VMware virtualization, Kubernetes networking, and scripting (Power CLI,

Qualificações

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Customer oriented and systematic way of working.
Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and change.
Strong individual analytical and problem‑solving skills.
At least 5 years professional experience in cloud and virtualization telco workload.
Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

Responsible for the delivery lifecycle management of assigned solutions within Europe.
Coordinating suppliers, engage with peers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of functionality and quality in projects.
Develop the onboarding process and automation of VNF & CNF delivery.
Work within the allocated budget and timelines of delivery.
Define, address, track and report on standard and guideline adherence.
Translate technical requirements into business language.
