Vodafone Portugal is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure engineer to deliver and evolve telco cloud platforms across Europe. You will design, implement, and optimize Red Hat/OpenShift and VMware-based solutions, and work with onboarding teams to automate VNF/CNF delivery.
You’ll collaborate across multi-functional teams, ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure, virtualization, and network integration, with a strong focus on automation (Ansible, GitLab) and scripting.
Qualificações
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years in cloud and virtualization telco workloads.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat, VMware, Kubernetes and virtualization.
- Experience with OpenShift, Telco Cloud, vSphere and NSX-T.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
Responsabilidades
- Delivery lifecycle management of assigned solutions within Europe.
- Coordinating suppliers, engage with peers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop the onboarding process and automation of VNF & CNF delivery.
- Work within the allocated budget and timelines of delivery.
- Define, address, track and report on standard and guideline adherence.
- Translate technical requirements into business language.
