Steconfer is looking for an Environmental Technician to strengthen our team on various construction and railway maintenance projects in Portugal 🚆.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure and supervise the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) environmental requirements at the site and fixed centers.
• Develop, update, and implement Environmental Management Plans and associated procedures.
• Support audits, non-conformity analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct on-site inspections and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
• Validate internal and external tests and ensure the reliability of quality records.
• Monitor environmental indicators and objectives defined in the IMS and propose improvement measures.
• Ensure the control and updating of environmental documentation for construction projects.
• Promote training and awareness-raising actions in the environmental area.
• Collaborate in the preparation and monitoring of internal and external audits.

What we are looking for
