We are looking for a Junior Cost Controller to join our Finance Department, based in Lisbon.

Steconfer is a global railway construction company, delivering large-scale infrastructure projects worldwide, with a strong commitment to growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

• Support the financial and economic control of railway infrastructure projects
• Assist in preparing, monitoring, and updating project budgets
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and support deviation analysis
• Prepare cost control reports, financial forecasts, cash‑flow statements, and periodic reports
• Collect, validate, and process project financial data (measurements, production, subcontracting, materials, equipment, and labor)
• Support the validation and control of supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Assist in contract, amendment, and variation analysis, assessing financial impacts
• Ensure proper organization and filing of financial project documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cost control processes
• University degree (preferably in Management, Economics, Finance, or Accounting)
• Previous experience in cost control or project finance is a plus, but not mandatory
• Suitable for early‑career professionals
• Solid understanding of financial and economic principles
• Fluent English is mandatory; Spanish is a plus
• Highly organized and results‑oriented
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accuracy
