Responsibilities
  • Ensure the transfer of knowledge about pharmaceutical products and their established manufacturing processes, from development to industrial-scale production;
  • Ensure the transfer of existing products from a manufacturing site to a contract manufacturer (CMO);
  • Know the products and processes, such as manufacturing equipment, manufacturing processes, procedures, skills, roles and responsibilities, cultures, regulatory framework and quality requirements;
  • Collaborate closely with the business development team to understand products or customer needs, quality assurance team, regulatory team and industrial management;
  • Plan the entire technology transfer process, tracking actions and milestones, monitoring and controlling planning and budgets;
  • Point of contact for communication with CMO's to ensure adequate exchange of information;
  • Anticipate potential problems and find solutions;
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, decision making, discussion, deadlines and risk management;
  • Ensure standardized technology and product transfer procedures to maintain consistency and compliance throughout the transfer process. These procedures must include clear and documented steps for risk assessment, document review, process validation and equipment qualification;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including implementing change control systems, reviewing and approving documents, managing deviations and non-conformities, and continuously monitoring product quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Technology or related field of study;
  • Experience of more than 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, namely in Pharma Technology, Product Transfer Project Management, Production Area and/or R&D;
  • Availability to travel: the role requires traveling 25% of the time (national and international).
