The Lifting Supervisor at TSL is responsible for the safe planning, coordination and supervision of lifting operations and precast installation activities across the project. You will lead crane and lifting teams, ensure compliance with lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements while coordinating with engineers and subcontractors.

You will drive safety, quality and operational performance, perform toolbox talks and KPI reporting, and manage defects and incidents to maintain project

Qualificações

• Experience planning, coordinating and supervising lifting operations.
• Knowledge of Lift Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Ability to coordinate crane teams and lifting equipment.
• Experience with precast installation and temporary works.
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate and supervise lifting operations, ensuring compliance with approved Lifting Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Lead and coordinate crane and lifting teams, ensuring competence, certification and training.
• Ensure cranes, lifting equipment and accessories are inspected, certified, maintained and fit for purpose.
• Plan and oversee precast concrete installation, including lifting methods, erection sequences, positioning, temporary bracing and final fixing.
• Coordinate precast deliveries, crane operations, site logistics and interfaces with other trades.
• Work closely with the Temporary Works Coordinator, engineers, precast suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Ensure lifting and installation activities comply with health & safety, quality, structural stability and statutory requirements.
• Conduct lifting briefings, coordination meetings and toolbox talks, and ensure effective communication between all lifting personnel.
• Manage lifting-related defects, incidents and operational issues, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor crane utilisation, breakdowns and operational performance and provide relevant KPI reporting.
• Undertake or coordinate the duties of Crane Coordinator, Crane Supervisor and MEWP Coordinator, where required.

Role Description

The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the safe planning, coordination and supervision of lifting operations and precast installation activities across the project.

The role ensures that lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements, legal requirements and industry best practice. The Lifting Supervisor will coordinate crane and lifting teams, lifting equipment, precast erection activities and site logistics while working closely with engineering, temporary works, procurement, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will provide strong operational leadership, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, compliance and performance throughout all lifting and installation activities.
