Job summary

iTRTech Group in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Senior Technical Lead / Data & Integration Solution Architect for a hybrid role. You will design and govern end-to-end data platforms, APIs, and event-driven solutions within Azure, guiding delivery teams and shaping governance and security practices.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in data architecture and integration, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on cloud expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 10 years hands-on solution design and delivery experience.
• Strong experience in Data Architecture, Integration, and Modern Data Platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Event Hub, Functions, Storage, and Key Vault.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures, APIs, and data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Security, Observability, and Cloud Operations best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in global environments.
• Preferred: GitHub, Terraform; energy/utilities experience; GDPR knowledge; Agile; JIRA; Confluence; Portuguese/Spanish.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data & Integration Solution Architect to design and evolve solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The role combines architectural leadership and hands-on technical expertise to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned data and integration platforms.

• Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures, APIs, and data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Security, Observability, and Cloud Operations best practices.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with experience in collaborative, global environments.
• Preferred: GitHub, Terraform or other IaC tools, Energy & Utilities experience, GDPR knowledge, Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and Portuguese and/or Spanish.
