Sodexo Business Services (SBS) in Portugal seeks a TECH Project Manager to drive a multi-year programme integrating core finance systems with strategic third‑party applications. The role sits at the center of business process owners, IT, architecture, and the vendor ecosystem.

Plan, deliver and govern end‑to‑end rollouts across SAP S/4HANA, ECC and Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring a scalable core data model and clear decision ownership across regions.

Qualificações

• ERP literacy and understanding of Order‑to‑Cash data flows across S/4HANA, ECC and Dynamics.
• Experience reading interface specifications, APIs and middleware.
• Ability to map fields between ERP systems and target applications.
• Delivery tooling experience and stakeholder-focused communication.
• Coordination of SIT/UAT, data-migration checks and go-live activities.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end plan, scope, schedule and RAID for the workstream and rollouts.
• Governance rhythm: steering sessions, minutes and action tracking.
• Coordinate test cycles, data-migration checkpoints and cutover activities.

SIDETRADE (TECH) PROJECT MANAGER

This is a hands‑on Project Manager role to help drive a multi-year programme that integrates

our core finance systems with strategic third‑party applications. The program connects the

Order‑to‑Cash landscape - collections and cash application in particular — to the enterprise

ERPs through a cloud Global Data Platform. It is delivered wave by wave, and is deliberately

designed to be reused across several ERP platforms - SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and Microsoft

Dynamics 365 - and across multiple countries and regions.

The successful candidate will sit at the center of business process owners, internal IT and

architecture, system‑integrator partners, the data‑platform team and the external application

vendor, and will keep all of them moving in the same direction. We are looking for someone with

the ability to lead delivery with rigor and to contribute actively to the solution itself —

challenging interface designs, shaping data mappings and turning open questions into agreed

definitions - rather than only administering the plan.

What will you do?

Delivery & governance

• Own the end-to-end plan, scope, schedule, and RAID log for the workstream and each
• rollout, and drive it to the agreed gates and go-live.
• Run the governance rhythm — steering and working sessions, minutes, action tracking
• and concise status reporting to sponsors.Manage dependencies, risks and issues proactively.
• Coordinate the test cycles, data-migration checkpoints, cutover and hypercare.
• Contribute actively to functional and technical definitions — challenge and help shape
• interface designs, data mappings and process decisions.
• Facilitate specification workshops with business, IT, architecture, the integration/dataplatform
• team and the vendor, turning the discussion into clear, agreed definitions.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, interface specifications, data
• models and test cases.
• Keep the definition backlog moving — convert every open point into a decision with a
• named owner and a date.
• Act as the single point of coordination across business process owners, internal IT and
• architecture, system‑integrator partners, the data‑platform team and the external
• Manage the delivery with partners and vendors.
• Communicate clearly.
• Plan and deliver successive rollouts across different ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA, SAP
• ECC, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and regions, protecting and reusing a common core model
• and canonical design.
• Ensure region- and ERP-specific requirements are captured explicitly, without
• fragmenting the template.

What you'll need to succeed?

• ERP literacy: Understands ERP data structures and ideally Order-to-Cash flows well enough to follow technical discussions and challenge designs across S/4HANA, ECC and Dynamics.
• Integration & architecture: Reads interface specifications; understands APIs, middleware, canonical data models and file exchanges, and when to use real-time versus batch.
• Data & mapping: Follows and validates field-level maps between the ERP and the target applications; spots gaps and inconsistencies.
• Delivery tooling;, with the ability to understand what matters to stakeholders, recognise where value can be created, and focus technical effort on solutions that are practical, useful and worth the investment.
• Testing & cutover: Coordinates SIT / UAT, defect management, data-migration checks and go-live activities.
• Fluency in English is required and additional languages are a plus.
