Sodexo Business Services (SBS) in Portugal invites applications for a Group Consolidation Specialist. You will participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation, ensuring data quality and coordinating with regional finance teams to support reporting packages.

We seek a Master’s degree in accounting/finance/audit with 3–7 years in consolidation and IFRS, plus advanced Excel and strong communication.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Audit or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in consolidation, financial reporting, audit or corporate accounting.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles.
• Experience within a multinational company and/or a Big4 audit firm is highly desirable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and fast-paced environment.
• High respect of deadlines.
• Fluency in English is required, and additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for the Group.
• Act as a key point of contact of the region and support reporting packages submission and ensure data quality and consistency (blocking controls help, provide reporting schemes, shares documentation).
• Collaborate with local finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
• Assist with the preparation of disclosures for annual and interim financial reports.
• Support external audit requests and coordinate information gathering.
• Perform transversal consolidation and reporting activities, including scope reviews, intercompany reconciliation, reporting tasks such as revenue analysis, UOP, cost by nature, working capital analysis, or group cash flow, pensions accounting and impairment test.

What will you do?
