OAK'S LAB in Portugal seeks an experienced Tech Lead to own the technical buildout of multiple products. You will lead a small, high-performing team of engineers and collaborate with product and design leaders to shape architecture and delivery.

You will mentor engineers, drive technology decisions, and contribute hands-on while aligning with business goals. A strong AI mindset and English fluency are required to influence ambitious startups.

Qualificações

• 3+ years leading an engineering team.
• 6+ years in software engineering.
• 3+ years building web apps with Node.js and React.
• Experience architecting software from scratch is a plus.
• Experience setting up and maintaining hosting infrastructure.
• Strong business acumen, especially in startups.
• Desire to learn new technologies and apply AI in workflow.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor and manage a 3–7 engineer team.
• Own the technical delivery of projects and meet deadlines.
• Select and update technologies to fit client needs.
• Assist PM in discovery refinement and roadmapping.
• Be a hands-on contributor and code with the team.
• Conduct regular code reviews and oversee architecture.
• Improve development processes and team efficiency.
