Inspired Education Group in Vilamoura, PT is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning and help create a safe, engaging classroom environment. You will work closely with teachers to promote curiosity, independence, and wellbeing among students.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children, a strong safeguarding mindset, excellent communication, and a collaborative, flexible approach to support across activities within an international school setting.

Qualificações

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct in schools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.
• Warm, patient and proactive approach with high expectations for pupil engagement.
• Flexible and collaborative, able to support across activities.
• Ability to support learning in group and one-to-one settings.
• Experience in international or diverse school environments is desirable.
• Additional language skills related to the school location are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and child-centred learning experiences.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and support progress.
• Help create and maintain a stimulating, well-organised, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social development using supportive approaches.
• Assist in observing, recording, and sharing student progress with teaching staff.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Supervise pupils during break times, lunch, school trips, and events.
• Assist with preparation of learning materials, classroom displays, and resources.
• Contribute to classroom routines, transitions, and day-to-day organisation.
• Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and child protection policies at all times.
